RESIDENTIAL

Houses, Apartments, Hotels, Student Accommodation
Proposals for residential development adjacent to significant noise sources must employ good acoustic design in order to gain planning consent. Particular care must be taken when proposals are in close proximity to industrial or commercial uses so any industrial noise impacts can be designed-out. Where proposed dwellings lie in close proximity to railway lines, the planning authority will expect a vibration impact assessment to be completed also.

Our methodology for completing the noise survey and noise impact assessment will be agreed in writing with the local planning authority prior to the work being completed, ensuring your project gains planning consent without issue or delay.
